By Visible - March 31, 2022
March 31 is Trans Day of Visibility: a day dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of transgender and gender nonconforming people, while also raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice.
To mark the day, Visible is partnering with influential voices within the Trans community for virtual conversations about what the day means to them, and their personal journey with being visible as a Trans person in 2022. One conversation is between the actress Tommy Dorfman, interviewed by the activist Matt Bernstein; another is between Emira D'Spain, the first Black transgender model for Victoria's Secret, and the NCAA swimmer Schuyler Bailar, as interviewed by actor and ally Justin Baldoni.
In conjunction with this campaign, Visible is making a donation to the It Gets Better Project to support their mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) youth around the globe.

Visible believes in connection, community, and being audaciously inclusive by bringing people together, not just through an innovative phone service, but also through the conversations that enrich understanding of one another. Visible has a strong commitment to supporting and uplifting the Trans community all year and beyond Trans Day of Visibility. Championing diversity and equity has been important to us since day 1. Outside of amplifying stories from the Trans & nonbinary partners within our network, we've utilized funds to support Trans Lifeline through our virtual accelerator program Visible Connect, have supported Brave Trails, and donated to closing the funding gap for the first known Trans woman attempting to summit Mount Everest.
